Lenten Bible Study Opportunities for ALL Ages!
Join one of our Lenten study groups. We will be using, "Words of Life - Jesus and the Promise of the Ten Commandments Today" by Adam Hamilton. We will study how these ancient rules can guide us and our experience in today’s world. Our study will last 6 weeks (February 17 - March 30). All groups will meet on Zoom. Available groups are:
Children (grades K-5) - Wednesdays 6:30 - 7 pm
Youth (grades 6-12) - Tuesdays 7 - 8 pm
Adults - Wednesdays 10 - 11 am OR Thursdays 7 - 8 pm
Please register by January 31st so we can plan accordingly. Sign up as a family, it would provide a great way to talk about scripture and share ideas
The Refuge Playground
We are again accepting donations for The Refuge Playground. These donations will not be a part of the “match program” that we ran last year but are still very much needed and appreciated. Gifts will be accepted till January 31st. If you have questions, contact Brenda Rohl.

Peoples Book Club
On January 19th The People's Book Club will meet to discuss the book, The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See. The Island of Sea Women takes place over many decades, beginning during a period of Japanese colonialism in the 1930s and 1940s, followed by World War II, the Korean War, through the era of cell phones and wet suits for the women divers. Anti-racism Accountability Group
We invite you to join Tapestry's new Anti-racism accountability group. We hope this will be a space where we can grow in awareness about anti-racism through monthly discussions about articles, movies, podcasts and books and to hold one another accountable as we seek to make small changes for racial justice in our daily lives. We will meet virtually (via Zoom) on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 7-8:30 PM starting January 26th.
2021 Polar Plunge

Westwood Weekend Bags
Dear Tapestry Church,
Westwood Elementary School sends it's sincere thanks for your donation of money and food to our Nutrition Club. We hand out 18-22 bags of food every Friday to needy students. The bags contain juice, snacks, fruit, and quick meals, like soup, mac & cheese, or noodles. Many of the students we serve are part of a sibling group that attend Westwood. Thanks to you, we can ensure they are well-nourished during the weekends and breaks. The students get so excited on Friday afternoon when we hand out the bags. The parents have welcomed this assistance and are thankful as well. Thank you for blessing our school and our neediest students and families!
I also want to specifically thank Dawn Arnold for her drive and commitment to help Westwood students. She delivers and organizes our little food pantry and helps pack bags when she is able. She truly has a heart for God and has a gift for serving others in the community.
God Bless,
Emily House, LCSWWestwood Elementary School
