New AED
Our current AED (Automated External Defibrillator) machine is due to be updated. A new Zoll AED Plus machine has been ordered for the amount of $1389.00. This update was recommended by the Oversight Team this month and approved by the Board using funds from the Living Memorial Fund. Our church is fortunate to have a Living Memorial Fund. Thanks to the many Tapestry members who have contributed.
February Outreach Donations
The Refuge is our Outreach receiving partner during the month of February. Donations of soup and canned fruit would be greatly appreciated!
Anti-racism Accountability Group
We invite you to join Tapestry's new Anti-racism accountability group. We hope this will be a space where we can grow in awareness about anti-racism through monthly discussions about articles, movies, podcasts and books and to hold one another accountable as we seek to make small changes for racial justice in our daily lives. We will meet virtually (via Zoom) on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 7-8:30 PM

Habitat for Humanity Spring Build Project
Tapestry Church will be participating in a new home build project sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County. The project is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 7. Volunteers will participate on 15 different days during the course of the two-month project. Each build day will involve 15 volunteers. Tapestry has committed to fielding volunteers to support one half of a build day (7-8 persons). To date, we've had about a dozen Tapestry members express an interest in working on the Tapestry team. However, Habitat still has some open days to fill with volunteers. If we can find a few more volunteers, we may be able to commit to a full build day. Additionally, there may be an opportunity to support this project by sponsoring a breakfast or lunch on one of the build days. If you are interested or want more information, please contact Cort Davisson / 317-476-6060 / cddavisson@yahoo.com
