Anti-Racism Discussion
You are invited to register and participate in this free workshop on Tuesday, June 1st. This will replace our May 25th meeting. Sign up ASAP, as participation is limited to 20 persons. Why does poverty impact people of color disproportionately in our nation? What systemic issues contribute to the gap between rich people and poor people? As awareness of the realities of racism in our nation grows, Bread for the World offers this 1 1/2-hour experience, designed to introduce participants not just to current the racial wealth gap, but how it has been embedded in the fabric of the U.S. economy for centuries. Participation limited to 20 persons. Presenters: Stephanie Henry, Fort Wayne food security advocate; Mary Henehan - Bread for the World Indiana Leadership Team. Click Here to Register
