Ecclesiastes 3:1-13
3 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; 7 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. 9 What gain have the workers from their toil? 10 I have seen the business that God has given to everyone to be busy with. 11 He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live; 13 moreover, it is God’s gift that all should eat and drink and take pleasure in all their toil.

ReEntry Update
This Sunday, June 6th, we are expanding the capacity for each service to 60 people.
Our ReEntry met last week, and while they would like to keep our mask mandate in place for worship for the time being, they did make two important changes:
1. We are no longer required to wear masks when presenting OR singing from the front.

2. Groups can unmask if all persons are vaccinated AND in agreement.
Please note that we are no longer requiring you to pre-register for worship. Come if you are comfortable or join us virtually via our YouTube channel.

Keeping your giving up-to-date is easier than ever. You always have the ability to set-up and modify your pledge and giving information online. Simply go to www.gototapestry.org/give. To ensure consistency and privacy we are encouraging members to take advantage of this option. If you are making a pledge, please choose the “General Fund” Fund option. Staying Connected
Member Spotlight - Jane Kixmiller
During both services, this coming Sunday Jane will be speaking about the Midwest Food Bank.
Jane, John, and Jason began attending Tapestry in 1989. When asked what she loves most about Tapestry her response was; "Tapestry is a church that welcomes everyone. We are all accepted for who we are. We may also agree to disagree in that our opinions are respected, and we feel free to share our thoughts. I am proud of Tapestry's presence in Johnson County and look forward to the future as we spread God's love."

Kids' Sunday School Starts This Sunday!
Parents, our summer class for pre-school through 5th grade starts Sunday, June 6th. Students can head to the back room during the sermon and will be brought back into worship after it is finished.
Youth Family Events
Join Us this Sunday for a "Toast"!!
Starting this Sunday, 6/6, an adult class is meeting at Campbell's at 10 am. This is the Grille next to Tapestry Church. We will provide what you want to drink and something light to eat. Bible study topics will be discussed. We plan to meet here weekly.
Tapestry Green Team
A Green Team is meeting regularly at Tapestry to focus on how our faith calls us to be good stewards of the Earth. Each Team member has signed the Disciples Green Chalice Covenant indicating our commitment to creation care and hope you will consider signing, too. We will share information and strategies with the congregation and hope to initiate various creation care projects. Our next goal is to put that commitment into action by making three changes that will move us as a congregation toward better caring for God’s creation. June Outreach Donations
During the month of June, we will be collecting diapers (any kind, any size) for Resources of Hope.
Delivering Relief and Hope
Midwest Food Bank distributes food and other items to over 700 organizations and in turn, provides these items in their communities to those in need! Several of us have been volunteering on the third Tuesday of each month from 12:30-3:00 p.m. It is a very rewarding experience and blesses us all. WE NEED YOU to prayerfully consider volunteering at Midwest Food Bank (located near SR 37 & Banta Rd). The need for food (and volunteers) is greater than ever.
