Staying Connected
ReEntry Update
Following the guidelines of the CDC, we are no longer requiring masks if you are vaccinated. You may still continue to wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable, but you are no longer required to do so.
We will still, however, require masks for:
-Those who are unvaccinated
-Those working with our children
-Anyone who is in close proximity to our children
In Galatians 5, the Apostle Paul said: “You were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only don’t let this freedom be an opportunity to indulge your selfish impulses, but to serve each other through love. All the Law has been fulfilled in a single statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Let’s remember this as we move ahead with the new policy. Let’s embrace this new freedom responsibly, making sure to love our neighbors as ourselves and making sure to create a safe space for everyone, especially our families with young children.

During the month of July, Tapestry will be collecting donations for The Refuge. While any non-perishable food items are appreciated, the following items are in need at this time:

The last 18 months have been hard on us all, and many of our familiar patterns have been disrupted. Now that we are emerging from the worst of the pandemic, we invited you to join us for a RESET.
Come join your Tapestry family for this exciting weekend of activities and worship!
Saturday, August 7th - Tapestry Family Night at Mallow Run!
Join us for a fun evening of food, fellowship, and music on the beautiful lawn of Mallow Run Winery (6964 W. Whiteland Rd. Bargersville, IN). There will be a special section roped off for us as we enjoy their free summer concert featuring the band "Sounds of Summer". Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Food trucks will be available, but you may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Suggested arrival time is 4:30 pm, with music provided from 6:00-9:00 pm.
Sunday, August 8th - Sunday Worship! Backpack Blessing! Donut Truck!
Join us for one of our regular Sunday morning worship services at 9:15 or 10:45 am, both of which will feature a Backpack Blessing for our kiddos' backpacks! Join us between services from 10:00 to 10:45 for coffee and donuts from Decadent Flavor!
Being Brave Together
Want to learn more about facing brokenness in our world? Join us as we view this excellent resource from the Disciples Justice Ministries!
The watch parties are at the church from 7 to 8 pm on Sunday nights - if you missed the first one last week, you can still watch it HERE.
The discussions are happening the following Sunday after traditional worship at Campbell's Grille (next to the church) - the first one being THIS Sunday, July 18th.

Time to Ramp Things Up, Tapestry!
Earlier this year you supported our efforts in partnering with the SAWS organization to provide a ramp for a needy resident in Johnson County. It was a tremendous experience not only for the recipient, but for all who participated that day as well.
We are back again asking for your assistance in the second part of our plan! We are hoping that you will join us in sending in donations that will help to provide the funds for SAWS to purchase the materials to provide another ramp to a deserving family.
This particular period of time is especially important as SAWS recently provided us with some exciting news: SAWS is striving to reach their exciting goal of funding and building their 3,000th ramp!
Rehab Medical has announced they will donate $1,000 for every $5,000 raised towards this goal. We would love to help them reach their next $5,000 milestone! Your donation of any amount will make a huge impact!
There are several ways to make your donation:
1) Use the drop down menu on our Tapestry website and choose “SAWS Fund”
2) Leave a check in the drop box at church with SAWS in the memo
3) Leave cash in an envelope clearly marked for SAWS Fund

Please join our First Tuesday Fellowship on Tuesday, August 3rd when we meet at Tapestry Church (1001 N. State Road 135 Suite A1 Greenwood) for food, fun, and fellowship.
