Outreach
Outreach will be collecting baby diapers and baby/children/youth socks during the Christmas Eve Service. The items collected will be given to Resources of Hope, which is an organization that collects items for foster children. If you will not be able to attend the Christmas Eve Service, please feel free to leave your donation at Tapestry Church anytime before Christmas Eve.

Staying Connected
Ski Trip in January...
We are targeting January 21-22 as the date for a trip to Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, IN! It would be a Friday night ski/snowboard under the lights and a full day on the slopes on Saturday. I would like to get a sense of who is interested and available that weekend before going further into details.

Let's Spread Hope!
You are invited to attend our January 4th First Tuesday Fellowship meeting at Friedens UCC! Renae Furnee, Executive Director of Resources of Hope in Whiteland, IN will tell us about this organization that provides resources to meet the needs of foster youth living in Central Indiana....in other words.... HOPE.

Outreach
Tapestry has so much to be proud of! One of those many items is Outreach to Johnson County during 2021. As we come to the end of the year and you reflect, please know what an impact your giving has made! If you have an Outreach idea for Tapestry to pursue that you would be willing to spearhead during 2022, please contact Brenda Rohl. We would love to have additional Outreach ministries!
Christmas Offering
The Christmas Offering supports regional ministries. In 31 regions across the United States and Canada, ministers are nurtured and congregations are provided opportunities for work and worship. Often recognized for the ministries of camps and conferences, regions also play a critical role in the preparation and authorization of ministerial ordination. Both are key to church leadership and development.
Giving
Dear Tapestry Church Family,
Each year at this time we have an opportunity to offer gifts of appreciation to the members of our church staff in the form of Christmas bonuses. There is no money budgeted for this. These gifts depend solely upon our contributions. The total contributed will be divided equally among the members of our staff.
Please offer your gifts over the next few weeks either online or in an envelope for worship marked “Staff Christmas Gifts.” You can also send your gift by mail to the church office prior to December 20th.
Offering these Christmas gifts to staff is a long-standing tradition of ours and I know it means a lot to our staff members. Please join my family in offering these gifts of love and appreciation during this special season.

Bill and Bea Baron, first time grandparents, welcomed a baby grandson on Wednesday, Dec. 15th at 7: 55 a.m. He was born to Ross and Kayla Baron. He weighed 6 lbs.14 oz. and was 20 ins. long.
