Outreach
Outreach will be collecting baby diapers and baby/children/youth socks during the Christmas Eve Service. The items collected will be given to Resources of Hope, which is an organization that collects items for foster children.

Luke 2:41-52
41 Now every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the festival of the Passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up as usual for the festival. 43 When the festival was ended and they started to return, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but his parents did not know it. 44 Assuming that he was in the group of travelers, they went a day’s journey. Then they started to look for him among their relatives and friends. 45 When they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem to search for him. 46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 When his parents saw him they were astonished; and his mother said to him, “Child, why have you treated us like this? Look, your father and I have been searching for you in great anxiety.” 49 He said to them, “Why were you searching for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” 50 But they did not understand what he said to them. 51 Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them. His mother treasured all these things in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in years, and in divine and human favor.

COVID Update
As temperatures fall and we face cold and flu season, we are also facing another spike in COVID cases, fueled by the Omicron variant. As a reminder, please do not attend worship (or any public events) if you are feeling sick. It is always better to err on the side of caution and avoid any potential spread. If you have tested positive, make sure to inform everyone with whom you have been in contact within the previous 48 hours. For more information, please consult www.cdc.gov. Let's remember that we are all in this together, and we all want to do our part to help protect everyone.
Staying Connected
Ski Trip to Perfect North!!
We will leave Tapestry for Perfect North at 7:30 am on January 22nd and return around 7 pm that evening. This will allow us to ski from 930-5. The estimated cost per person - on the high end - is $85 plus money for lunch "on the mountain."
$85 per person will cover the costs for transportation, lift tickets, rentals, ski school. Tapestry will cover the remaining half and a quick meal before returning to Greenwood. Save $10 on ski school if you have skied or boarded in the past and are comfortable on the slopes.

Renae Furnee, Executive Director of Resources of Hope in Whiteland, IN will tell us about this organization that provides resources to meet the needs of foster youth living in Central Indiana....in other words.... HOPE.
Our business meeting begins at 11:30, devotions are provided by John Kixmiller, and lunch begins at 11:50. PLEASE BRING A SANDWICH to enjoy. FTF will provide your drinks and dessert. Please RSVP to
