Isaiah 6:1-8
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lofty; and the hem of his robe filled the temple. 2 Seraphs were in attendance above him; each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. 3 And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 4 The pivots on the thresholds shook at the voices of those who called, and the house filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” 6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding a live coal that had been taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. 7 The seraph touched my mouth with it and said: “Now that this has touched your lips, your guilt has departed and your sin is blotted out.” 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”

Lent Book Study
During Lent, you are invited to be a part of a spiritual journey with your friends at Tapestry Church as well as friends from Risen Lord Lutheran Church, First Christian Church in Bargersville, and Union Christian Church in Franklin, as we join together in reading and reflecting on a book by Rev. Jerry Zehr called The Peacemaker’s Path.
From the book description on Amazon, “Now more than ever, people are painfully divided politically, religiously, and culturally. And yet, there is a commonality in our faith traditions that can help us turn away from polarization and create a greater sense of community in which our differences are honored.”
In our study, we will read the daily readings and reflections on our own, but then, for those who would like, we will join together in a weekly Zoom gathering to discuss the week’s readings on Thursday evenings at 7:30 beginning March 10 through April 7 (click here for a more detailed schedule). On our final night together on April 14 at 7:30, we will have the blessing of meeting in person with Rev. Jerry Zehr, the book’s author.

Making Music Together!
YOU are invited to attend our First Tuesday Fellowship on Tuesday, March 1st at Friedens United Church of Christ. The Marshalls, a father and daughter musical team who have performed for over 30 years, will entertain us with classic country and southern gospel music. Our meeting begins at 11:30 followed by a delicious lunch at 11:50. Devotions will be provided by Sara Rinker. Please rsvp to Jane Kixmiller

Rock the Block
Rock the Block is a fun run near Center Grove High School on Saturday, April 23. You can register for a 5K, 10K or Kids Run. Cost is $25. This event supports a variety of charities in Johnson county. All ages and abilities are welcome to join in the fun! Our group can meet prior to the race for encouragement and then you can go at your own pace. Children's Ministry
We have temporarily suspended our children’s Sunday school.
The Pray-ground area is always available for kids near the musicians as well as nursery care. If you are in need of a nursery (for ages 0-2), one can be provided with advanced notice. Click here to request nursery care.
Region Lenten Study
Friends, we invite all across the Indiana Region to gather virtually for a Lenten study led by the regional staff clergy. We will use the resource, Witness at The Cross, by Amy-Jill Levine. Obtain a copy of the book from your favorite bookseller/library (Amazon link) and learn alongside us as we share in the time together.
There are three opportunities, with each group meeting weekly for 6 weeks via Zoom as listed below. A registration link for the sessions are below. You will be sent a Zoom link in your registration confirmation email. Each session will last around 60-90 minutes.

Lent 2022
As we begin this year’s Lenten journey, our guide is the ancient village of Bethany. This small community plays a pivotal role in the life of Jesus, playing host to many of the major events in the gospel stories, and being the place where Jesus spent
the last week of his life.
Why was this tiny village so important to Jesus? And moreover, why are certain places so important to us - maybe even sacred?
Join us this year as we walk through these iconic stories that happened in Jesus’ sacred place and consider the sacred places in our own lives.
