38 Now as they went on their way, he entered a certain village, where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. 39 She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to what he was saying. 40 But Martha was distracted by her many tasks; so she came to him and asked, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; 42 there is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Mask Mandate Lifted

Following the guidance of the CDC, the ReEntry Team of Tapestry Church has agreed to lift our mask mandate. You may still continue to wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable, but you are no longer required to do so. Masks are still recommended for those who are unvaccinated and

those working with children.

We thank you for your patience as we have navigated this tumultuous time together and for the ways that you have continued to "love your

neighbor as yourself.”

Tapestry is combining forces with First Christian Church of Bargersville (also a Disciples congregation) to offer our 5-week Seekers course, which culminates in baptism or confirmation for our youth. So far, we have a class of 5 and have space for more if anyone would still like to join in. Since two of our regularly scheduled meetings occur during this time, I am inviting ALL youth group members to attend these two meetings at Risen Lord (marked "full youth group" in the schedule).

I am excited about this opportunity and hope it will be just the start of some shared ministry in the area of youth with FCCB. All times below are 12-1:30pm. As always, feel free to reach out to Ryan with any questions or concerns (317.501.3866 or ryan@gototapestry.org).

Peoples Book Club

The Peoples book club will have its next meeting on Tuesday, March 15th at 6:30 p.m. at Karen Dickerson's home. The book we will be discussing is entitled "The Paris Library" by Janet S. Charles. Here is a synopsis:

Rock the Block

Rock the Block is a fun run near Center Grove High School on Saturday, April 23. You can register for a 5K, 10K or Kids Run. Cost is $25. This event supports a variety of charities in Johnson county. All ages and abilities are welcome to join in the fun! Our group can meet prior to the race for encouragement and then you can go at your own pace. We have temporarily suspended our children’s Sunday school.

The Pray-ground area is always available for kids near the musicians as well as nursery care. If you are in need of a nursery (for ages 0-2), one can be provided with advanced notice. Click here to request nursery care.
