To my Tapestry Church family,
40 years!? How can that be? Serving as organist, pianist, and accompanist at Southport and now Tapestry Church has been a very rewarding journey! Doing something I love to do with my church family that I love has been a special journey for me! Over the years, we have shared many challenges, tears, and changes, but also so much fun, compassion, love, and energy! I have so many fond memories of those years, the ministers, congregation, choir directors and choir members!
Thank you so much for the beautiful reception last Sunday, the many cards and hugs, Karri and the choir for sneaking around and rehearsing without me, my friend Ann, for helping out, Jane for her organization, the gorgeous flowers, cupcakes, chocolates. The necklace, earrings and bracelet from the choir are so beautiful and my family and friends (and I) will be enjoying the Mallow Run wine for quite a while! I never dreamed my photo would be on a wine bottle label! Well, that is better than at the post office, right? Seriously, it was a very special day and I feel very blessed to have played for 2,000 plus worship services!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and kindness!
Sue
