Staying Connected
Church Work Day - October 22, 9AM
If you have a couple of hours to spare on a Saturday morning, please come join us for a little bit of fall “spring” cleaning. Trucks or trailers welcomed, as there are few larger items.
We are planning to make some room in our storage building by removing the items no longer necessary to store. Some items will be utilized in our new space and others will be sold or donated. Assessments are still being made on long term storage items.
Please RSVP below if you are available - and make plans to join us at the storage building (920 W County Line Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217). We may even have donuts!

Trunk or Treat 2022
Sunday, October 30th, 4-6pm
We’ll gather at church to hand out candy, hang out around the bonfire, and share God’s love with our community. In addition to handing out candy, we’ll be having hot dogs and s’mores! How can you get involved?
1) Volunteer to provide a trunk! This is the most important part – you cannot have a Trunk or Treat without trunks! It’s actually quite simple: just decorate your trunk or truck bed and hand out candy. There are dozens of great ideas online. If this feels a little daunting, join up with a friend to do a trunk together!
2) Donate candy. If you cannot be there that night, you can always donate candy or money to purchase candy. This will be used to supplement the candy that each trunk provides.
3) Help with dinner. We’ll need lots of folks to assist with hotdogs and marshmallow roasting. It will take all of our combined efforts to make this a memorable event, so please consider which way you want to get involved!

Are you feeling a calling to give of your time during this holiday season, while helping those who are in need? Do you have interest in helping to coordinate Thanksgiving Food Bags and/or Gifts for Adopted Christmas Families? Tapestry Runners and Walkers
Are you a runner? A walker? Do you like to be active? Do you like donuts?! If you answered "Yes!" to any (or all) of those, then you are invited to join our new group: "Tapestry Runners and Walkers (TRW)"!
TRW meets on select Saturday mornings to run/walk/move for a few miles and then gather for community, coffee, and snacks. We had a great time last week and look forward to having more of you join us on October 29th and November 19th. Come move with us!

Coffee and Conversation
Coffee and Conversation has begun meeting every Sunday from 10:00 - 10:45 am in room #3. Leaders will continue their rotation schedule on the second Sunday of each month; however, the other Sundays will be led by those in attendance using questions from the faith-based question box. Please join us for some interesting discussions and fellowship with one another.

Kid's Wiring Event
The ‘Grown-Up’s Guide to Kids’ Wiring’ community event sponsored by Tapestry Church and Risen Lord was a big success. John Kixmiller and Anna Rommel shared the concepts contained in the book with the 26 people who attended the event, and each attendee received a free book as a helpful resource for communicating with the children in their lives.
This summary presentation can ‘go on the road’ and can be shared with other parent, teacher, and family groups. Please contact John Kixmiller (john@gototapestry.org) to schedule or for additional information.
