Risen Lord and Tapestry Welcome Our Denominational Leaders this Sunday.

Bishop William Gafjken--Bishop of the Indiana Kentucky Synod of the (ELCA)--and Rick Spleth-- Regional Minister of the Christian Church (DOC)--are visiting Risen Lord and Tapestry this Sunday, December 4th. Between worship services, all are welcome to join these denominational leaders for Coffee and Conversation in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about the exciting, ecumenical conversations taking place between our two denominations.

Congregational Meeting

We will be having a Congregational Meeting on

Sunday, December 11th

to approve the 2023 Leadership Slate and the 2023 Budget. The meeting will take place at Tapestry between services. It will also be available virtually via Zoom.

Staying Connected

Family Christmas Party!

December 11th, from 12-1:30 pm
You are invited to Tapestry's family Christmas party! We will meet in the fellowship hall for a combined lunch, then separate for youth and children activities.

Children (up to 5th grade) will have a gingerbread house-building activity.

Youth (middle and high school) will have a white elephant gift exchange. Please, bring a gift with a value of no greater than $20.

Advent Devotionals

This year we are using the Advent Devotional called “Be Ready." There are hard copies available at the church or you may download a digital version HERE.

Tapestry Christmas Angels!

Through The Refuge, Tapestry will be helping families in need in Johnson County for Christmas. A Christmas tree with tagged ornaments will be in the church lobby area by the sanctuary (west end of the building) beginning 11/20/22. If you are willing and able to help, please choose an ornament, purchase the gift, and return the gift under the tree (NOT wrapped with the ornament attached) by 12/11/22. Help Tapestry brighten a Christmas for children in need!

Christmas Concert

All are invited to the Center Grove Choir Christmas Concert. This is a wonderful show that will put you in the holiday spirit! It is December 1st and 2nd at 7 and December 3rd at 2. Some of our Tapestry youth will be in the groups. Tickets go on sale Thursday 11-17 at 10AM at https://centergrovechoirs.org or ask Sarah Nguyen for details.

Dear Tapestry Church Family,

Each year at this time we have an opportunity to offer gifts of appreciation to the members of our church staff in the form of Christmas bonuses.

Please offer your gifts over the next few weeks either online or in an envelope for worship marked “Staff Christmas Gifts.” You can also send your gift by mail to the church office prior to December 15th.
