Luke 2:15-20

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go now to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 So they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the child lying in the manger. 17 When they saw this, they made known what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds told them, 19 and Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told them.

Staying Connected

M&Ms

M&Ms (Mary & Martha) women’s group will meet on December 13th at 10AM at U Paint Pottery Studio 3113 W. Smith Valley Road Greenwood. After we have painted our Christmas pottery, we will have lunch at Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant 1675 W Smith Valley Road around 12:15 PM. This is a change in restaurant because the one chosen by members is closed on Tuesday. All are welcome! Please email Gigi Shook (gshook4381@aol.com) if you are planning on going. Hope you can attend!

You Are Invited!

"Risen Lord's Montessori School's Annual Christmas Program' will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary followed by refreshments in Fellowship Hall. These excited three to five-year-olds will present a nativity reading and costumes followed by the singing of many festive songs. Feel the Christmas spirit as you join us on Thursday, Dec. 15th!

This year we are using the Advent Devotional called “Be Ready." There are hard copies available at the church or you may download a digital version HERE.
