Join us in between services for an Easter Egg Hunt!
Meet in Fellowship Hall in between services (10:30 am) for an Easter egg hunt led by Tapestry youth. We will divide the hunt into two groups:
1) Preschool ages (toddler-4 years)
2) Elementary school ages (K-5th grades).
Weather permitting, this will be outdoors (it's looking good as of now!). Please bring a basket to bring home goodies. See you there!

April Outreach
During the month of April, Outreach will be collecting items for KIC-IT (Kids in Crisis Intervention Team) of Johnson County, who work to provide a network of support & empowerment for youth to break the cycle of homelessness & promote independence.
The Tapestry M&Ms usually ask for items to include in Hygiene Kits. However, KIC-IT has asked if for one month we could ask for cleaning supplies for their facility instead. So the following are requested donations if you are willing & able:

ROCK THE BLOCK!
Rock the Block is a 10K (timed), 5K walk/run (family friendly), and a free Kids Run. The date for this year's run is April 22, 2023 at Center Grove High School beginning at 8:35 a.m. Tapestry Church is once again a sponsor!
This event, which began in 2015, is now sponsoring 21 nonprofit organizations that serve youth and families in Johnson County. More than $165,000 has been donated to local charities from this event. Four of these nonprofits are also a part of Tapestry Church's ongoing Outreach programs.
Early registration is available for $25 until midnight April 7th. The cost is $35 until race day. You may register below for this wonderful day of family fun, and exercise.

The Serenity Prayer, written by American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr, has long been a staple of the Recovery Movement and Alcoholics Anonymous. Unfortunately, this prayer is the only thing that many Christians know about AA and other twelve step programs, despite their being rooted in the Christian revivalist tradition. Join us for the next three weeks, where we will be exploring the power of transformation and seeing what else we can learn from this powerful movement.
