Proverbs 3:1-7
1 My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, 2 for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare they will give you. 3 Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and of people. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

Staying Connected
Youth Trip to King's Island!
Join us on July 18th for a trip to King's Island. We will leave Tapestry at 8 am and return around 7 pm.
The cost will be $50, which includes admission and free drinks. Please, bring money for lunch and extra spending money if needed. I'll set up an online payment portal at a later date.

Church Picnic
Join us at noon on Sunday July 23rd for an afternoon of fellowship with several other Johnson County DOC congregations as well as Risen Lord Lutheran Church. We will meet at the shelter house of First Christian Church of Bargersville for a joint picnic at noon. Please park in the lot of FCCB at 101 East St, Bargersville.
Burgers (w/ veggie option), hot dogs, and buns will be supplied. Please bring a side and/or dessert to share. In addition, tea and lemonade will be provided for a donation which will go to Isaiah 117 House. They support children awaiting placement with foster families. See you there!

July Outreach
INCREASED # CLIENTS + DECREASED # DONATIONS = SHELVES THAT NEED REPLENISHED!
This is the story at The Refuge - more people are needing help with their food supply, and fewer food drives/donations are being supplied.

Happy Summer
Tapestry Church is once again a sponsor for Mallow Run's Wine at the Line 5K run/walk on Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 2:00 p.m. We hope you will consider participating in the run/walk as the proceeds benefit the non-profit organization, Courageous Hearts Adoptions, by registering on Mallow Run's website at www.mallowrun.com.
Registration from June 16th through Sept. 22nd is $40.
Also, a benefit of Tapestry Church being a sponsor of Wine at the Line is that we receive several complimentary tickets to Mallow Run's ticketed summer concert series. If you are interested in attending any of the concerts listed below, tickets are available for the concerts in the church office in an envelope in Jane/John Kixmiller's mailbox. The tickets are available on a first come/first served basis. Enjoy!
