Trunk or Treat 2023
Join is this Sunday! We’ll gather at church to hand out candy, hang out around the bonfire, and share God’s love with our community. In addition to handing out candy, we’ll be having hot dogs and s’mores! How can you get involved?
We are still in need of Volunteers to provide trunks and candy.

Women’s Retreat
Forty- eight women from seven different churches attended the Women’s Retreat at the Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery last Saturday. It was a beautiful fall day in a perfect setting to explore Spiritual Well-Being. Two Tapestry women presented during the retreat: Paula Peterson on Prayer/Meditation and Susan McNeely on Gratitude/Thankfulness. Diana Thompson, pastor of Tabernacle Christian Church in Franklin discussed Bible verses related to Nature. There were many positive comments from the attendees at the end of the day.

A special thank you to our three exceptional presenters and to Diana Bennett who organized the event and created the beautiful retreat journals for each participant.
M&M's
At October’s M&M's (Mary and Martha Christian Women’s group) meeting, the members put together personal hygiene kits for the Franciscan Hospice House and then delivered them last Wednesday. The kits will be available to those family members who unexpectedly spend the night with their loved ones. They were pleased with the kits and blessed to have them available as a little touch of God’s love to give to families.
