1 O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have founded a bulwark because of your foes, to silence the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; 4 what are humans that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? 5 Yet you have made them a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet, 7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

What will you miss most about home? I will miss my hometown friends and family, as well as my church family, the most. Going to a new place means the loss of the warmth from loved ones, familiarity, and routine. However, this is an opportunity to gain a new sense of community and belonging through new adventures.

Staying Connected
June Outreach
Our Outreach support for June will go to Servants At Work (SAWS).
SAWS is our partner organization who builds ramps for families who need assistance getting in and out of their homes due to mobility challenges.
Our church recently assisted John and Tammie build a ramp at their home. (photos above)
Now we are hoping to pay for another ramp to be built for another deserving family!
Our goal is to reach $1,700.
Instead of bringing in items in June, we hope that you will either use the drop down menu online to donate and choose SAWS, or you will place a donation in the offering boxes at church with SAWS designated as the recipient!

Summer Book Club
The Bible has been used as a weapon against the LGBTQ+ community, and we are actively seeking ways to reconcile this damage. Using the book UnClobber by Colby Martin as a guide, we’ll follow one individual’s path to an open and affirming stance led by the Bible. In this series, we will look at the verses traditionally used against the LGBTQ+ community and discuss their misuse. Let us reclaim the Bible for what it was created to be: a tool for radical inclusion and love.
Join us bi-weekly for five weeks, beginning on June 11 @ 6:30 pm, for a laid back book-club-style conversation. If you are interested but have not read the book, that’s OK! - bring your open minds and hearts for a thoughtful discussion.
We have 5 extra copies of the book available. If you have not yet signed up, but wish to participate, please see Ryan for a copy.

All of our church family are invited as we celebrate Meredith Nguyen as she graduates from Center Grove High School. Her open house will be at The Sycamore at Mallow Run on June 15th from 1130-230.
