Psalm 62
1 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall never be shaken. 3 How long will you assail a person, will you batter your victim, all of you, as you would a leaning wall, a tottering fence? 4 Their only plan is to bring down a person of prominence. They take pleasure in falsehood; they bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. New Ministry
Our Tapestry Oversight committee is pleased to communicate a new ministry to our congregation!
The Mulbah family will be offering transportation assistance to those who need non-wheelchair accessible rides to our Traditional (second-only) service!
We are so blessed to have such a generous family who is willing to assist our members in this way!

Johnson County Disciples of Christ Picnic
The Johnson County Disciples of Christ congregations will once again be gathering for a summer picnic on Sunday, June 30th, at noon.
This years location is Union Christian Church, located at 1331 E 300 S, Franklin, IN.
The menu will be burgers. Bring a side to share and join with your fellow Disciples!
Ukulele Jam Session
Exciting ukulele news! Join us Monday evening August 5th for our first ukulele jam session. If you are interested in learning to play the ukulele, or want to join the group, feel free to attend! Guitarists are welcome too! Please contact karri@gototapestry.org for additional questions!
Congratulations to our 2024 Graduates!
June Outreach
Our Outreach support for June will go to Servants At Work (SAWS).
SAWS is our partner organization who builds ramps for families who need assistance getting in and out of their homes due to mobility challenges.
Our church recently assisted John and Tammie build a ramp at their home. (photos above)
Now we are hoping to pay for another ramp to be built for another deserving family!
Our goal is to reach $1,700.
Instead of bringing in items in June, we hope that you will either use the drop down menu online to donate and choose SAWS, or you will place a donation in the offering boxes at church with SAWS designated as the recipient!
