Psalm 82

1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3 Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding; they walk around in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6 I say, “You are gods, children of the Most High, all of you; 7 nevertheless, you shall die like mortals and fall like any prince.” 8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you!

Staying Connected

July Outreach

During the month of July, Tapestry Outreach will be collecting for Resources of Hope in Whiteland, IN. This ministry provides support and essential resources to youth in foster and kinship care throughout Indiana at no cost.

Currently, Resources of Hope is in need of:

New Ministry

Our Tapestry Oversight committee is pleased to communicate a new ministry to our congregation!

The Mulbah family will be offering transportation assistance to those who need non-wheelchair accessible rides to our Traditional (second-only) service!

We are so blessed to have such a generous family who is willing to assist our members in this way!

Mallow Run Fun!

Coinciding with Tapestry's sponsorship of the 2024 Wine at the Line Walk/Run, we have received general admission tickets to these 2024 Picnic Concerts:
Sat. Sept. 7th "Gone 2 Paradise Jimmy Buffett Tribute" 7:00 p.m.
Sat. Sept. 14th "American English Beatles Tribute" 7:00 p.m..

We have a limited number of these tickets available. They are in an envelope marked "Tickets" in Jane Kixmiller's mail slot in the office.

Exciting News!

The Choir will sing Sunday July 21, 2024 for the end of Risen Lord’s 9:30am service and near the beginning of Tapestry’s 11am service! If you have a wish to join the choir this next season from August to May, or just to sing for one Sunday, this is your chance to give it a try! We will rehearse Wednesday July 17 at 7:00pm, and will sing Sunday July 21st!

The choir would be thrilled to have more participants in all voice parts! If you have a wish to share your vocal talent, please attend! I look forward to seeing you for this special combined choir Sunday! If you have any questions please contact: karri@gototapestry.org
