Luke 19:29-40
29 When he had come near Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of the disciples, 30 saying, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as you enter it you will find tied there a colt that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ just say this, ‘The Lord needs it.’ ” 32 So those who were sent departed and found it as he had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?” 34 They said, “The Lord needs it.” 35 Then they brought it to Jesus, and after throwing their cloaks on the colt, they set Jesus on it. 36 As he rode along, people kept spreading their cloaks on the road. 37 Now as he was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, 38 saying, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!” 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, order your disciples to stop.” 40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the stones would shout out.”

Enneagram Workshop
Join us this Friday night (7-9pm) and Saturday morning (9:30-11:30am) for this introductory workshop on the enneagram. This model will allow us to have time to process the information of Friday night before digging deeper on Saturday morning.
Friday night will include hors d'oeuvres and cocktails with a light breakfast and coffee on Saturday morning.

Easter Flowers
Once again this year your worship team would like to bring in spring for Easter by decorating with flowers. We will have lilies, hyacinths, daffodils, and tulips. Each pot will cost $10. When you fill out the order form please fill out your name, what flowers and how many of each you would like. You can also designate whether the flowers are in honor or in memory of a loved one, and give their name.
Orders will be taken until Tuesday April 15. Flowers can be taken home on Easter, April 20th after the worship services.

Krista Johnson Weicksel and Ryan Meek will lead a discussion of the book, co-edited by Krista, Rooted in Faith and Justice: Christian Calls to Conscience & Cries for Peace in Palestine.
Pastor Wendy is Official!
Last Sunday, our brothers and sisters at Risen Lord Lutheran Church unanimously voted to extend a permanent call to Pastor Wendy Kalan. Anyone who has spent any time with her knows that she radiates warmth, leadership, and spiritual guidance. Tapestry has been blessed by her gifts since we made the decision to move here and begin sharing life together, and we look forward to seeing how God will keep using her as we continue this beautiful journey together.
The Common Place Spring Cleanup
Spring has sprung! To keep the grounds looking beautiful, The Common Place is looking for volunteers to prune bushes, weed and distribute mulch and stone on Saturday,
May 3rd starting at 9:00am.
Although we have some gardening tools, additional wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, spades, and trimmers would be helpful.

Mission Trip 2025 - Christmount
Join us July 7-12 for a service trip to Christmount in Black Mountain, NC. We will help the folks at Christmount and surrounding areas in the long recovery following Hurricane Helene last fall.
The cost is $250 for a family of four ($50/person over 4) and $100 for individuals. A $50 deposit will hold your spot for the trip. We will have an informational meeting on May 11th @ 10:30 am in the Woven Space. The deadline to register is May 18.

April Outreach
Our Outreach for April is to help Resources of Hope. The current need is summer pajamas for teen girls and boys. The sizes can range from older youth to adult sizes. Consider short sets, night gowns, or sleep shorts with t-shirts.
They are also in need of volunteers twice a month on Saturday mornings, ROH needs childcare helpers during Foster Parent meetings. The time commitment is from 8:45 to 11:15am. Please see Linda Speziale if you are interested.
Rock the Block!
Rock the block is a timed 10K, family friendly 5K walk/run, and also has a free kids run which will be held on Saturday, April 26th at Center Grove High School. Tapestry Church is once again a sponsor. Food, music, vendors, and awards are also included. The 10K begins at 8:35 a.m. with the 5K beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Kids Run begins at 10:00 a.m.
This event has given back $245,000 to Johnson County charities serving children and families since 2015.
Early registration is available ending midnight April 11th. Early registration is $40.00 with registrants receiving a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. Kids' Run early registrants receive a $5.00 Rascal's Fun Zone gift card! Registration after April 11th is $45.00 with the day of race cost of $50. You may register below for this wonderful day of family fun and exercise.
