Thankfulness Sunday, November 23rd

Once again, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving as one gathered community, and it will be a FULL day.

Fall Bread Sampling

Starting at 9:30am, come early to enjoy a sampling of delicious fall breads, like pumpkin, cranberry, and apple (and if you are inspired to bring a bread, please sign up at church or contact Dayna Zook at gadzooks@msn.com).

Combined Worship

Then, at 10:00 am, all three existing worship services will join together for one combined service in the Sanctuary.

Advent Decorating

Lastly, following the combined worship service, we need volunteers from both congregations to stick around and help us decorate our building for the Advent season. The more folks that stick around, the less time it will take!

We look forward to joining in shared worship and fellowship on Sunday, Nov. 23rd, as we give thanks for our many blessings!

Advent Book Study

A book study on Voices of Advent by Matthew Skinner will meet Tuesday mornings at 10:00am in Room 3 on November 18, December 2, 9 and 16. Join us for a rich biblical journey through the season of Advent, listening to prophets, poets, angels, and visionaries who speak of hope, longing, and divine promise. This study explores how Scripture shapes our anticipation of Christ’s coming and deepens our celebration of Christmas. Join us as we reflect on these voices and prepare our hearts for the story of Jesus. Please sign up at the welcome tables. Books are available for $15.
