Hear what the Lord says: Rise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice. 2 Hear, you mountains, the case of the Lord, and you enduring foundations of the earth, for the Lord has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel. 3 “O my people, what have I done to you? In what have I wearied you? Answer me! 4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. 5 O my people, remember now what King Balak of Moab devised, what Balaam son of Beor answered him, and what happened from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the saving acts of the Lord.” 6 “With what shall I come before the Lord and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? The 16th annual Wine at the Line Walk/Run is happening this Saturday, Sept. 26th. As in the past, Tapestry Church is a sponsor and has a booth. The proceeds of this event benefit Cystic Fibrosis.
On race day, we would love for all Tapestry participants to meet
at the Tapestry Booth at 1:45PM for a group photo.

We Call Ourselves Disciples
Join us for 6-weeks as we discover how Tapestry fits into the distinctive identity and shared values of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), using the book “We Call Ourselves Disciples.” This insightful book features twelve chapters, each penned by respected Disciples pastors and scholars, offering diverse perspectives on the core tenets and lived experiences of the denomination. It's more than a summary, it is an invitation to enter into an ongoing conversation about faith, guiding you through the beautiful complexity of Disciples life.
Whether a new visitor, member, or a lifetime Disciple, you will get something out of these sessions. Join us this Sunday at 10:30am in room #3. On October 25th, we will offer our WEAVE class for new attendees, visitors, and new members during this same time slot.

In honor of World Communion Sunday on October 4, which celebrates worldwide unity in Christ through the sacrament of Holy Communion, Tapestry and Risen Lord will once again share favorite cultural desserts or breads, such as baklava, sopapillas, or naan, during joint fellowship between worship services. Please sign up at a welcome table on Sunday morning. On October 4, please bring your labeled food item to the narthex by 9:20 a.m.
2026 Women's Retreat
Saturday, October 24th | $30.00 per person
All ladies, are invited to our Women’s Wellness Event on Saturday, October 24th from 10am to 2pm at Nire Event Center, 740 E. Main Street, Suite C, Whiteland, IN 46184.
Join us for an uplifting time of fellowship, encouragement, and practical wellness tips designed to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy inspiring speakers and meaningful conversation. We will offer chair yoga with breathing techniques, a counselor for mental health, and a dietician. You will be able to make a vision board, and bullet journalling pages will be available for craft time. This will be a time to connect with other women in our church and community. Whether you are seeking renewal, support, or simply a chance to recharge, this event is for you. Program and Lunch cost will be $30.00 per person. Questions, please contact Diana Bennett. If you pay by check instead of registering online, please be sure to put women’s retreat in the memo section of your check. Also, scholarships can be made available if cost is a concern.

Unconditional, through their Stiletto Stories event, has a goal of raising $125K this month! This money will be used to expand programs and staff. It will allow them to accept more clients. Let's help them reach their goal and walk alongside women who want to get out of the adult entertainment industry.
