Picturing Lent
If a picture is worth a thousand words, the 2020 Tapestry Lenten Devotional will contain 47,000 words! Your Worship team would like to invite any and all to contribute to this year's Lenten devotional entitled "Picturing Lent". You will be given a word and asked to define that word with a photo. You can use words to explain your shot along with the picture. Once you've taken the picture you can either email it to Nina Eads (nina.eads@gmail.com) OR turn in a printed copy along with your name and a brief thought. Nina will compile the photos into a print version and also a version for distribution through email. The emails will begin on February 26th, Ash Wednesday, and continue through April 12th, Easter Sunday. The printed booklets will be available on Sunday, February 23rd. Submissions will need to be to Nina no later than Sunday, February 16th. We look forward to preparing our hearts and minds for Easter through a visual devotional!
Ash Wednesday Prayer Stations
Tapestry will host an interactive prayer experience on Ash Wednesday, February 26th, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the church office, 2801 Fairview Place, Suite M Greenwood, IN 46142. During this come-and-go event, you can share in moments of prayer, receive communion, and receive the imposition of ashes.
Lenten Learning
Lenten learning opportunities will be offered on six Thursdays, beginning 2/27. Topics include prayer, chanting, journaling, the enneagram, and Bible
journaling - which is an artistic and reflective way to journal in your Bible. They will be held at the church office and begin at 6:30 pm. Save the dates now!
A Gift of Love
There will be Tapestry Church note pads available this Sunday at the Ministry table. Please take two and share one with a friend!
