During the Lenten Learning classes, we will be collecting donations for The Refuge. They are most in need of personal hygiene items; soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, shaving cream, deodorant, etc.
The first Tapestry Health and Wellness Initiative will be this Sunday, March 1st from 12:30 - 1:30 pm
in the Sugar Grove gymnasium.

Gifts for Sugar Grove Staff!
The next 2 Sundays we will be set up in the cafe to paint friendship rocks for the Sugar Grove Staff, from 8:45 am until the end of the second service. I hope everyone, young and young at heart, will join in the fun.
Volunteers Needed
Are you available Saturday, 3/21/2020 from 9 AM to Noon to help at Resources of Hope? They have asked Tapestry to help with their “changing of seasons”. Winter items will be stored and spring/summer items will be moved to the shelves for parents of foster children to do free shopping of items needed. We need 10 volunteers. If you are willing & able to donate your time, please let Brenda Rohl know. Come represent Tapestry.
Westwood Weekend Bags!
Weekend Bags is a program where we will assemble weekend bags of food for those children that may not have the nourishment they need over the weekend! There are currently 15-20 students that are in need of this program at Westwood Elementary School. No child should be left hungry.
To start this program we are asking for donations. These donations will be used to assemble the weekend bags. We are asking for non-perishable, easy to prepare food for the children to ensure they receive enough food on the weekends to avoid hunger when they can't depend on a school meal.

Prayerground Manager Needed
We invited children of all ages to engage in our Worship. Many younger children use our Prayerground area. We are looking for an individual to bleach wipe our toys, rotate new toys in and out, and to occasionally wash the quilt. No committees, no meetings— just serving Tapestry’s children.

New Youth and Kid Updates went out on Thursday. Let Shannon know if you didn't receive them.
Upcoming dates include Youth Group on 3/1 and 4/5 and Kids' Club on 4/26. Make sure your kids/youth are practicing their parts for Youth Sunday (4/26).
"C U" About CBD!
We continue to see and hear many things about CBD oils. Join our Tuesday, March 3rd First Tuesday Fellowship where RN Sheryl Green will discuss the history, research, and uses/needs for CBD oil. We meet at Friedens United Church of Christ beginning with a meeting at 11:30 followed by a delicious lunch at 11:50. Our monthly charge will now be $8.00 which includes delicious food, wonderful fellowship, and informative/entertaining programs. Devotions will be provided by Vivian Gill.
