Scripture for Sunday, March 22nd
10 “Very truly, I tell you, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by another way is a thief and a bandit. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 They will not follow a stranger, but they will run from him because they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them. 7 So again Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand, who is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away—and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 The hired hand runs away because a hired hand does not care for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. 18 No one takes[
] it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. I have received this command from my Father.”

Despite our indefinite suspension of in-person gatherings, Tapestry is alive and well!
It certainly has looked different in the last few days, but we are finding new and creative ways to "be" and "do" church together.
On Monday, the Board met via Zoom to handle the most pressing concerns facing us.
Then, on Tuesday, the Elders met via Zoom to explore ways of staying connected as a church family during this time. Be expecting a phone call from one of them soon.
We hope you are finding moments of connection - with yourself and family, with other members of Tapestry, and with God.
A few reminders:
We are offering live videos every day at 10:00 AM on our
church Facebook page
(not the group page). If you cannot join us live, the videos will remain on the page, with the most recent being first.
The church office is closed, and our staff is working remotely. Should you need access to the office, please make arrangements with a one of the pastors. We can all be reached via email or cell phone.
You can continue to give online through
or you can mail your tithes and offerings to the church office (2801 Fairview Place, Suite M, Greenwood, IN 46142). The work of the church is ongoing, and we are always grateful for your sustained generosity.

Our volunteer event at Resources of Hope this Saturday, March 21st has been canceled.
FTF Postponed It is with regret that First Tuesday Fellowship will not meet in April or May (possibly longer) due to the concerns of the continued spread of COVID-19. Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the virus, and your health, safety, and well being are our top priority. Please check on each other often and pray for our healthcare workers, emergency responders, and leaders of our wonderful nation. God Bless.
Prayerground Manager Needed
We invited children of all ages to engage in our Worship. Many younger children use our Prayerground area. We are looking for an individual to bleach wipe our toys, rotate new toys in and out, and to occasionally wash the quilt. No committees, no meetings— just serving Tapestry’s children.
Contact Paula Ream if this is a way you can serve Tapestry Church.
We hold in prayer
Betty Gaile Manlove as she experiences several health challenges.
Kent Bennett as he deals with a rotator cuff injury and awaits surgery.
Diana Bennett as she anticipates an upcoming procedure.
Lynn Taylor as she anticipates being released from the hospital as well as having surgery in a few weeks.
The family of Melba Dilk. Melba’s funeral was on Wednesday of this week.
Those affected by the Coronavirus, healthcare workers, and those working on a cure for the virus.
Jim and Paula Ream's children. Marta Ream, a nursing home aide who has their first confirmed COVID19 patient, Derek Ream, a sous-chef at Hedge Row on Mass Ave who’s laid-off until 4/1.
