John 11:17-27

17 When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, some two miles away, 19 and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them about their brother. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, while Mary stayed at home. 21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask of him.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming into the world.”

BS on Thursdays at Eight!

Now you might be wondering what this BS is all about. It may be what you’re thinking, but it may not! If you’re thinking about a Bible Study that will meet via Zoom on Thursday evenings at eight o’clock, you would be right! During this time of the Coronavirus pandemic, we want to offer you an invitation (by using Zoom) to grow in your faith by studying God’s Word. Beginning, Thursday, April 16th at 8:00, and continuing each Thursday evening at 8:00, we will be joining together for a half an hour of a special Bible Study called “Receiving Christ’s Hope.” There will not be any pre-class reading, and there is no cost to the study. The only requirement is that you will need a computer, tablet, laptop, or smartphone to be able to connect with others in the study group via Zoom. Much of the study will involve listening to a Scripture passage or a devotional reading and then reflecting upon the passage or reading to listening as to how God might be speaking to us through it. If you have questions, please call or text John Kixmiller at 317-691-2587 or email him at john@gototapestry.org. Otherwise, just load the Zoom app on your computer, tablet, laptop, or phone if you have not done so, and then at 8:00 on Thursday evenings, join the group by using the Meeting ID of 936491552.

We are offering devotional videos every day at 10:00 AM on our church Facebook page (not the group page). If you cannot join us live, the videos will remain on the page, with the most recent being first.
The church office is closed, and our staff is working remotely. Should you need access to the office, please make arrangements with one of the pastors. We can all be reached via email or cell phone.

Prayerground Manager Needed

We invited children of all ages to engage in our Worship. Many younger children use our Prayerground area. We are looking for an individual to bleach wipe our toys, rotate new toys in and out, and to occasionally wash the quilt. No committees, no meetings— just serving Tapestry’s children.

We give thanks that Dureta Stanley was able to be discharged from Rosegate on Friday.
We keep Jeff Stoner’s mother in our prayers as she recovers from a heart procedure that she had this past week.
