Save the Date - Enneagram Workshop
Thursday, May 21st at 7 pm Cory will be hosting a virtual Enneagram Workshop. Cory was originally going to offer this during Lent, but it had to be postponed due to COVID-19. Stay tuned for more details.
Donations for The Refuge
The Refuge is continuing to see lots of cars in their drive-through food pantry line during these difficult times. Tapestry Church has a plan to help. We must emphasize, however, that we want no one to put themselves at risk or compromise their own food supply. If you are willing & able to help, we will be collecting Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, Boxed Macaroni & Cheese, & Peanut Butter Crackers. If you have these items to donate or have questions, contact Brenda Rohl (317 847-3824) and we will arrange a “porch pick up” and get your items to The Refuge.
Prayer Requests
In an effort to keep track and report all prayer concerns, all requests received before 5 pm on Thursdays will be added to the prayer list in the weekly e-newsletter that is sent out on Friday afternoons. This list will also be published in the private Tapestry Facebook Group. Any requests received after 5 pm on Thursdays will be added in the comment section of the Facebook post and will go on the list for the following week’s e-newsletter. We will no longer be sending out separate prayer emails. Individual emails WILL be sent out for death and funeral announcements. We as staff feel this is the best way to manage and maintain these requests. Thank you for your understanding.
Announcements for the e-newsletter must still be submitted by noon on Wednesdays. You can submit an announcement HERE. Thank You.
The Peoples Book Club
The Peoples Book club will have its last book discussion of the school year over the book "Becoming" by Michelle Obama. Join us via Zoom on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30 p.m. Gigi Shook will be leading the discussion. We will also be gathering suggestions for next year's book club books. If you would like an invitation to the Zoom link please email the church office. If a change in venue occurs, we will email everyone.
Month to Month FTF
As we continue to appreciate all of the healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers, we realize that the COVID 19 virus still exists. We are happy that things seem to be moving in the right direction, but we must remain vigilant and safe. FTF will not be meeting in June to assure a safe environment for everyone when we do resume. Please continue to pray for our nation. "Stay tuned" as to when we may begin meeting again.
