Philippians 4:4-8
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. 6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
2020 Pentecost Offering
In 2001, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) embraced a bold vision: to start 1,000 new churches in 1,000 different ways by the year 2020.
Today, we have welcomed 1,034+ new places of worship into the Church. The table around which we gather has grown in language, diversity, and life experience.
Courageous leaders have answered the call to grow the denomination through the new church movement. They have reached the underserved, welcomed new neighbors, and created communities of faith. And we, as Disciples, have committed to supporting them.

Bible Study
The Christian Education Team is offering another Bible study opportunity. We will be meeting via Zoom every Thursday in June from 8 - 8:30 pm. Different people will share scripture each week. Please join us for this time of sharing and growing. Click here for the meeting link.
Month to Month FTF
As we continue to appreciate all of the healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers, we realize that the COVID 19 virus still exists. We are happy that things seem to be moving in the right direction, but we must remain vigilant and safe. FTF will not be meeting in June to assure a safe environment for everyone when we do resume. Please continue to pray for our nation. "Stay tuned" as to when we may begin meeting again.
Donations for The Refuge
The Refuge is continuing to see lots of cars in their drive-through food pantry line during these difficult times. Tapestry Church has a plan to help. We must emphasize, however, that we want no one to put themselves at risk or compromise their own food supply. If you are willing & able to help, we will be collecting Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, Boxed Macaroni & Cheese, & Peanut Butter Crackers. If you have these items to donate or have questions, contact Brenda Rohl (317 847-3824) and we will arrange a “porch pick up” and get your items to The Refuge.
A Few Reminders
- We are posting weekly devotional videos, on our church Facebook page, every Wednesday at 10:00 am.
- We continue to provide a full worship service each week on Sundays at 10 am. You can join us via Facebook or YouTube.
- The church office is closed, and our staff is working remotely. Should you need access to the office, please make arrangements with one of the pastors. We can all be reached via email or cell phone.
- You can continue to give online through this link or you can mail your tithes and offerings to the church office (2801 Fairview Place, Suite M, Greenwood, IN 46142). The work of the church is ongoing, and we are always grateful for your sustained generosity.

Congratulations to Tapestry's Nursery Supervisor,
Amy McCartt.
Named District Support Staff of the Year
Perry Township Schools named Amy McCartt the district’s 2020 Support Staff of the Year!
Ms. McCartt is the treasurer at Perry Meridian Sixth Grade Academy. She began her career as a reading tutor at Rosa Parks Elementary before transitioning to the Academy almost eight years ago. She is the first person that most building visitors see and talk to and is an integral part of the school’s positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Ms. McCartt takes her role as treasurer very serious. She stays informed of the many rules and directives she must follow when handling school finances; she is vigilant in making sure that all staff follow the regulations as well. When Ms. McCartt isn’t crunching numbers, you can find her helping front office visitors and staff by answering questions or assisting with projects.
Ms. McCartt goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly.

- We give thanks and pray for our five Seekers who were baptized last Saturday ~ Gavin Arnold, Katie Clingerman, Colbie Jones, Ethan Massey, and Isabella Meyer.
- We give thanks for our Nursery Supervisor, Amy McCartt, who recently received Perry Township Schools’ Support Staff of the Year award.
- We continue to pray for Dureta Stanley who is making some progress in recovering from COVID 19.
- We pray for Diana Bennett who is recovering from heart valve replacement surgery.
- We pray for all those affected by the COVID 19 as well as those caring for them.
- We pray for our governmental leaders as they continue to make decisions regarding COVID 19 relaxing of restrictions.
When we encounter a story that is odd or controversial or provocative, we sometimes say it is “colorful”. The Bible is full of these stories, and they rarely get read or mentioned. Join us this summer as we explore some “colorful” passages and discover that we serve a God who consistently colors outside the lines.
