Truth in Love
, James 3:13-4:3
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not be boastful and false to the truth. 15 Such wisdom does not come down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish. 16 For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disorder and wickedness of every kind. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace. 4 Those conflicts and disputes among you, where do they come from? Do they not come from your cravings that are at war within you? 2 You want something and do not have it; so you commit murder. And you covet something and cannot obtain it; so you engage in disputes and conflicts. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, in order to spend what you get on your pleasures.

September First Tuesday Fellowship
We hope that each of you is remaining safe and healthy. We again are canceling our September 1st FTF. We will continue to decide each month as to when we will resume meeting. I know that we miss seeing each other and are looking forward to when we may fellowship again. We continue to pray for our nation, healthcare providers, and essential workers. God Bless, Jane Kixmiller.
The move to the new building has been completed & clients are again being seen inside the building. Tapestry will be returning to donating CANNED FRUIT & SOUP. Thank you Tapestry for all of your donations - you are so appreciated!
Westwood Weekend Bags
Weekend Bags is a program where we will assemble weekend bags of food for those children that may not have the nourishment they need over the weekend! There are currently 15-20 students that are in need of this program at Westwood Elementary School. No child should be left hungry. School starts August 6th and our program will start the week after. We are asking for non-perishable, easy to prepare food for the children to ensure they receive enough food on the weekends to avoid hunger when they can't depend on a school meal. Two entrees (pasta bowls, chef boyardee, ind. cereal, two snacks, one juice box, applesauce, pudding cup, raisins, granola bars, crackers) are just a few ideas!!! Please contact Dawn Arnold (317-507-0003) to arrange pick-up/drop-off.
You can continue to give online through
or you can mail your tithes and offerings to the church office (
1001 State Road 135, Suite A1, Greenwood, IN 46142
). The work of the church is ongoing, and we are always grateful for your sustained generosity.

We pray for all those affected by COVID-19 and those caring for them, as well our governmental leaders as they make decisions regarding COVID-19 relaxing of restrictions.
"We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the caring support you provided during the recent illness and passing of Andy Ward. The prayers, cards, phone calls, texts, and emails all meant so much to us and carried our whole family through a very difficult time. A special thank you to John Kixmiller for the pastoral care he provided all along the way and the beautiful service celebrating Andy's life. Our Tapestry family is such a blessing!"
Love - Shirley Ward and Lisa and Chris Fultz and Family
